About the Event|

The inception of “after the Garden of Forking Paths” at Yokota Tokyo inspired me to explore new artistic possibilities through a musical and performance event.

I shared this vision with the gallery staffs and engaged in a discussions with Tadao Kawamura, my creative partner in musical unit 36, about the notions such as “Parallel,” “Multiverse,” and Jorge Luis Borges’ short story The Garden of Forking Paths. These exchanges deepened my musical vision for the project, leading to the inclusion of choreographer Yukina Sakai, who will contribute a performative dimension to the event.

By a stroke of serendipity, a musician Leonidas Danezos has also been invited to join the project. Each participant will embody the role of a spatial messenger or a traveler of particles, creating an unpredictable and dynamic space where transmissions and expressions intersect in a symphony of randomness.
