YOKOTA TOKYO was pleased to present the exhibition “ARCHIVE-Rare Books from the Collection of Annely Juda Fine Art.”

For more than half a century, London-based gallery Annely Juda Fine Art has enthusiastically introduced the works by avant-garde artists of the early twentieth century as well as the artists of today. With the generous cooperation of Mr. David Juda, this exhibition features rare books by avant-garde artists, relating to Russian Constructivism, Dada, Surrealism, and Bauhaus, which the gallery has collected since its opening. The exhibition also included more than 200 exhibition catalogues published by Annely Juda Fine Art.

A talk event "Avant-garde and Typography" were held in conjunction with the exhibition. Prominent scholars talked about the expressions and techniques found in books produced by avant-garde artists mainly in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century.
