We are pleased to announce the exhibition "Isamu Wakabayashi - Myself". In his sculptural works, often small wooden figure appeared in the shape of himself. These charming little figures are carved out of rustic wood and meaningfully bandaged around their bodies. It was both a figure of himself and a way of measuring the space or environment around the artist delicately. This show focuses on a group of sculptures made intermittently between 1985 and 2001, with several interruptions, as well as related works.
